My own journey is what led me to become a personal trainer and create CB Performance & Nutrition to help others make lasting changes without feeling like fitness has to take over their entire life.
My journey started exactly where yours might be now.
I haven’t always been confident in the gym or known exactly what I was doing.
At my heaviest, I weighed over 20 stone. I know what it feels like to want to make a change, to struggle with confidence and motivation, and to wonder whether you’ll actually be able to stick with it this time. Losing over 8 stone didn’t happen overnight. It took consistency, patience and learning that making progress doesn’t mean being perfect.
Along the way, I completely changed my relationship with training, nutrition and my own health, and discovered a passion for helping other people do the same.
Why I created CB Performance & Nutrition.
My own experience showed me how overwhelming the fitness industry can be. Complicated training plans. Restrictive diets. Conflicting advice. The feeling that if you can’t follow everything perfectly, you’ve somehow failed.
I wanted to offer something different.

My own transformation gave me the passion to help others, but professional knowledge and experience allow me to do it properly. As a fully qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer, Level 4 Nutrition Coach and Level 4 Strength & Conditioning Coach, I combine personal experience with professional expertise to help clients train effectively, improve their nutrition and work towards lasting results.
